Join our dynamic elevated hospitality team as a Craft Mixologist, where your energy and expertise will create memorable experiences for our guests. The Rathbone Hotel and Parlor Bar is one of the most prime establsihments in all of Moontrose. We are looking for someone that can give Boutique style service to our bar patrons and hotel guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage our POS system, Toast, for accurate food and beverage entry and payment processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Assist in serving the food that you order, correctly, to your guests, after it has been delivered to the bar
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and compliance with alcohol service laws during nightlife or event settings
- Read all bar and hotel guests, anticipate their needs, and give "Limo Style" service to everyone
Skills
- Proven experience as a bartender with craft cocktail experience, in a fine dining establishemnt.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems. We use Toast
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and drink measurements
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Team player who gets along well with others and wants to be a part of something great here in Montrose.
