About the Role


We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented People Operations Leader to lead and evolve the employee lifecycle experience for our U.S. population of approximately 350 full-time employees across multiple entities. This role is central to harmonizing our systems, benefits, and people processes as we integrate Sojern, and future possible acquisitions, into RateGain.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in HR operations, a strong track record in systems optimization, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment with a global lens. This role will report to the VP, People & Culture (Americas).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the U.S. employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits, HR systems, compliance, and immigration.

• Drive the post-acquisition integration of HR systems, processes, and benefits between Sojern and RateGain, ensuring a consistent and scalable employee experience.

• Evaluate and streamline existing HR processes and implement automation to drive efficiency and consistency across entities.

• Implement Ai agent or automation technology to improve operational efficiencies.

• Serve as a key point of contact for U.S. benefits, 401k, leaves of absence, immigration, vendor relationships, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

• Partner closely with global counterparts, particularly in India, to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing across the broader People function.

• Leverage and optimize the HCM/HRIS ecosystem—Dayforce, ADP, Darwinbox, and others—to support reporting, compliance, and data integrity.

• Coordinate with IT, Finance, Payroll, and other internal partners when reports, system integrations, or process alignments are required.

• Develop and maintain policy documentation, guides, FAQs, and knowledge resources for employees and managers.

• Maintain and update employee records to ensure audit‑ready compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Generate HR metrics and dashboards (headcount, turnover, etc.) and translate insights into effective reports and presentations.

• Manage compliance processes including I‑9 verification, labor law postings, ACA reporting, and policy updates.

• Support internal and external audits with requests and reporting.


Qualifications


• 10 - 12 years of progressive experience in HR operations or People Ops, with direct experience supporting U.S. populations in a high-growth, global technology company.

• Proven success leading post-M&A integration efforts, including systems and benefits harmonization.

• Deep experience in HR compliance, including multi-state employment practices and immigration.

• Deep expertise in HR systems and Microsoft 365; direct experience with Dayforce and ADP highly preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to build and improve processes at scale, leveraging automation and modern HR tools.

• Global mindset with experience collaborating across different regions and cultures.

• Ability to work with employees in different time zones and attend early morning or evening meetings as needed.

• Occasional domestic travel for meetings and HR team sessions.

• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving clarity through structure, documentation, and partnership.

• High degree of ownership, discretion, and attention to detail.
