Position Summary

The CDL Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant transportation of food products for Rastelli Foods Group. This role supports daily distribution operations while ensuring adherence to DOT regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Safely operate commercial motor vehicles for local and/or regional deliveries

· Conduct required pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and maintain driver logs

· Load, unload, and secure product to prevent damage or temperature deviation

· Maintain proper temperature control and sanitation for food‑grade products

· Accurately complete delivery paperwork, ELD entries, and shipping documents

· Comply with DOT regulations, hours‑of‑service requirements, and company policies

· Communicate professionally with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers

· Report safety issues, delays, accidents, or product discrepancies immediately

· Maintain cleanliness of assigned equipment and professional appearance

Required Qualifications

· Valid CDL license with acceptable driving record

· Current DOT medical certification

· Minimum 1–2 years of commercial driving experience

· Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices

· Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles

Physical Demands / Work Environment

Employee must regularly lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs; climb in and out of tractor‑trailer units; and work in varying temperatures including refrigerated environments.

Rate: $25.00 -$26.00 per hour with potential for OT
