Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center is looking for a skilled, compassionate Weekend Certified Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team and help provide exceptional care when our patients need it most.
Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center (EPVMC) is a busy 24/7 emergency and referral hospital with full in-house laboratory capabilities, 6 surgical suites, fluoroscopy (C-arm), 64-slice GE Lightspeed CT with fluoroscopy package, 1.5T GE MRI, ultrasound, holmium laser, dental suite with cone beam CT and digital dental radiography, and endoscopy. EPVMC has well-staffed referral services in Anesthesia, Cardiology, Critical Care, Dentistry, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, and Surgery along with a great team of emergency clinicians to offer advanced care to a well-educated and devoted client base.

Weekend Certified Veterinary Technician
Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center in Allentown, PA
Needed shifts: 8AM-8PM on Saturdays and Sundays
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide high-quality nursing care to hospitalized and emergency outpatients overnight
- Monitor anesthesia, from induction to recovery
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, lab work, and proper medication administration
- Assist veterinarians with emergency procedures and treatments
- Accurately maintain medical records and communicate patient updates
- Support clients with empathy and professionalism during overnight emergencies

REQUIREMENTS
- Current certification/licensure as a Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT)
- Ability to work assigned weekend shifts
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Calm, confident demeanor in emergency or high-stress situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Emergency or overnight experience preferred
