About This Opportunity:
We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with pediatric and strong phlebotomy experience, to assist our clinical research team at our Kissimmee, FL trial site.
If you don’t have previous clinical research experience, we will provide all the necessary training and professional development, so you can successfully complete the required research assessments during the visits.
Responsibilities:
- Collect or coordinate collection of clinical procedures such as vital signs, ECGs, blood draws, centrifugation, urinalysis, IP infusions.
- Administer Investigational Product via IV infusion (if required)
- Monitor patient vitals
- Coordinate operations with other departments to facilitate completion of procedures during participant visits, includes communications with nurse practitioners, medical assistants, pharmacy, regulatory, and/or physical therapy
- Monitor and evaluate patient response to Investigational Products
- Manages participant chart binders and coordinates accurate completion of source with various delegated staff.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Nursing
- Active RN license in the State of FL, compact license preferred
- Previous home health or in-patient experience with pediatric patients
- Strong phlebotomy skills and experience accessing ports
- Resourceful, proactive, positive attitude
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion
Job Type: PRN
$45-$65 per hour, depending on experience
