Job Summary**
Responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance and repair services efficiently and accurately, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 hourly
Job Responsibilities**
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Conduct multi-point inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Execute basic diagnostic checks using provided tools and equipment.
- Complete work orders accurately and efficiently, documenting all services performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle status and recommended services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on new automotive technologies and repair procedures.
- Assist other technicians with tasks as needed.
Job Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive technician training program preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in automotive service or a related field.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and hand tools effectively.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- ASE certifications are a plus.
