Job Summary**
Georgica Auto Holdings is seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to perform a variety of maintenance, diagnostic, and repair tasks on automotive vehicles, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Compensation: $18.00 hourly
Job Responsibilities**
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using specialized diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Complete work orders accurately and efficiently, documenting all services performed and parts used.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the workshop environment.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status, repair progress, and recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and tools.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with automotive technology and repair techniques.
Job Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive technology strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive systems (e.g., engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical).
- Strong understanding of diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
