What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gastropub/Food Runner position at Rapp's Barren Brewing Company?
Rapp's Barren Brewing Co in Mountain Home, AR is looking for Gastropub Staff to join our team. Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable about customer service, self-driven, motivated and hard-working. This position does not require candidates to be 21 years or older, however that is always a plus.
Responsibilities
- Take customer orders (ensuring they are correct), taking care of payments, serving non-alcoholic beverages, helping to bus tables when needed
- Communicate to customers: such as call-ins, walk-ins, musicians, happy people, sad people, funny people, boring people, managers, co-employees, family members, friends, acquaintances and morbid enemies...all with a kind and smiling face!
- Clean, organize and follow trained standards
- Communicate and work well with others
- Learn as much as possible about our craft beverages (we also make homemade soda) and scratch menu. There are endless resources, we love to help!
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment (and sometimes a slow paced environment, lets be real!).
- Enjoy serving others and help to provide EXEMPLARY customer experience.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds as well as bend, squat, lift and twist.
- Stand for 5 or more hours.
- Work with commercial cleaning products.
- Run a register, count money and give change to customers.
- MUST be able to work nights and weekends (including Sundays).
