Rapids Home Furnishings is a locally owned, family-run furniture store looking for a friendly, motivated Sales Associate to join our team. We offer a relaxed, non-corporate environment where relationships matter and customers are treated like family.
We’re looking for someone who values flexibility, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in helping customers create a home they love.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet customers and help them find the right furniture for their space and lifestyle
- Build genuine relationships and provide a personalized, no-pressure experience
- Learn our product lines and confidently explain options, pricing, and features
- Assist with sales, financing, and order processing
- Help keep the showroom clean, organized, and inviting
What We’re Looking For:
- Friendly, approachable, and positive attitude
- Strong communication and people skills
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Team player who can also work independently
- Sales experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule:
- Store hours:
- Sunday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Schedule can be discussed—we offer flexibility while still expecting reliability
