Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service-oriented architecture and solution architecture, with expertise in Salesforce and related technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the Salesforce platform while ensuring integration with existing IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will contribute to system engineering and design, leveraging their knowledge of cloud security, microservices, and various programming languages.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
- Design and implement service-oriented architectures to enhance system functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
- Integrate Salesforce with other systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP, and ETL processes.
- Ensure data integrity and security through effective database management using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Conduct system testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices using tools like Jenkins or Git.
- Maintain documentation for system architecture, design specifications, and user guides.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts including cloud security, computer networking, and system administration.
- Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, Java, Ruby on Rails, or similar.
- Experience with database technologies including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Azure is a plus.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools like Docker or Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Strong understanding of web services (REST/SOAP) and APIs for system integration.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
