About the role
The Goods-In Stock Controller will work within a small team within the company’s Warehouse environment.
The Goods-In Stock Controller will focus on ensuring goods received are booked in accurately and in a timely manner. You will be working within a small team and reporting to the Goods-In Team Leader, the ideal candidate will be self-motivated and will be confident in working alone as well as part of the team (with guidance).
Role Responsibilities
- Sole responsibility for booking in stock using the appropriate software.
- Putting stock away in the correct location.
- Stock rotation
- Date checking to ensure no expired stock is sent out (FIFO).
- Assisting with stock checks and cycle counts.
- Assisting with company stock-takes as required.
- Undertaking any additional warehouse activities, when requested.
- Assisting with Picking and Packing in the warehouse when needed.
Requirements

- Ability to spot stock/system inaccuracies and communicate them accordingly.
- Process driven, but always looking for potential improvements and efficiencies.
- Ability to self-motivate and plan and prioritise workloads.
- Good time management.
- Good Communication skills.
- Previous experience working with stock in a warehouse environment.
- Good basic IT skills.
- Methodical and organised.
About the candidate
The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of one year’s experience in a warehouse/stock control role. They must be self-motivated, proactive and analytical also seeking self-sufficiency within their role. They will confidently communicate and work closely with all teams within the business, in order to ensure patients receive their goods on time.
