Truck Driver Recruiter

Overview

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Truck Driver Recruiter to join our dynamic talent acquisition team. In this vital role, you will spearhead efforts to attract, engage, and hire qualified truck drivers to meet our company’s operational needs. Your expertise in full-cycle recruiting, talent sourcing, and relationship management will ensure we build a strong driver workforce aligned with our safety standards and company values. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for truck drivers, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Develop and execute targeted recruitment campaigns utilizing social media marketing (recruitment), job boards.
• Build and maintain relationships with external recruiting agencies, driving lead generation and external recruiting initiatives.
• Conduct high-volume recruitment activities, including cold calling potential candidates and campus recruitment events to attract entry-level talent.
• Manage the candidate pipeline using ATS (Applicant Tracking System) tools, ensuring timely follow-up and communication throughout the hiring process.
• Engage in research to identify new sourcing channels and innovative recruiting practices that enhance candidate quality and diversity.
• Foster strong relationship management with hiring managers, candidates, and external partners to ensure a seamless hiring experience.

Experience

• Proven success in full cycle recruiting within the transportation or logistics industry, preferably with high-volume recruitment experience for truck drivers or technical roles.
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication skills to effectively engage candidates and hiring managers alike.
• Experience with social media marketing (recruitment), HR sourcing strategies, and cold calling techniques for lead generation purposes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong relationship management skills that foster collaboration across teams and external partners.
