Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver packages across designated routes.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
- Follow planned delivery routes accurately, adjusting as needed for traffic or other delays.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries, answering questions and ensuring satisfaction.
- Verify delivery details and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Keep detailed records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents that occur during shifts.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred.
- Prior delivery driver experience or courier background highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical moving tasks regularly.
- Experience operating a box truck, forklift, pallet jack, or manual transmission vehicle is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols.
