I Ship Medical Logistics is seeking reliable and professional Medical Courier Drivers to join our growing team.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position, ideal for individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Drivers will be responsible for the secure and timely transport of medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and critical healthcare materials between facilities.
Position Details:
- Independent Contractor (1099)
- Route-based work (consistent daily routes once assigned)
- Flexible scheduling (routes may include early morning, daytime, or overnight shifts)
- Weekly pay
Compensation:
$150 – $300 per day (based on route volume and efficiency)
Weekly earnings potential: $800 – $1,500
Earnings vary based on:

Responsibilities:
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, pharmaceuticals, and documents
- Follow strict chain-of-custody procedures
- Ensure all items are handled with care and delivered on time
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Use mobile apps for routing, tracking, and communication
- Perform basic vehicle checks before routes
- Communicate any delays or issues promptly
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with medical staff and facilities
Compliance Requirements:
Drivers must be willing to complete required training, including:
- HIPAA (patient privacy)
- Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP)
- OSHA safety training
Training may be provided through our system and required prior to starting routes
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle (fuel-efficient preferred; EVs welcome)
- Smartphone with GPS capability
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Prior delivery or courier experience preferred (not required)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs (occasionally more with assistance)
- Ability to drive for extended periods
- Ability to load/unload packages safely
Work Environment:
- Combination of indoor and outdoor work
- Driving in various weather conditions
- Exposure to medical environments (labs, clinics, hospitals)
