Position Overview
This role is ideal for someone who is driven, confident, and skilled at both sales and relationship building. The BDR will identify new business opportunities, generate leads, conduct on-site evaluations, and guide homeowners through roofing solutions. Roofing or construction sales experience is highly valued, and project management experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new leads through networking, cold outreach, canvassing, referrals, and social media.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients.
- Conduct on-site roofing evaluations and provide accurate quotes.
- Present company services and educate clients on roofing solutions and product options.
- Coordinate with the project management team to ensure seamless job progression.
- Track sales activity, maintain CRM records, and report progress toward sales goals.
- Stay informed on roofing products, pricing, warranties, and industry trends.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in roofing sales, home improvement sales, or business development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organization, time management, and follow-through abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing is preferred but not required.
- Project management experience is a plus.
