Job Overview
The Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations within a fast-paced plastics molding environment. This role ensures production schedules are executed efficiently, materials and resources are aligned, and communication flows effectively between departments including Molding, Quality, and Shipping. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast paced, deadline-driven production setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Coordinate and communicate daily and weekly production schedules for injection molding operations
· Create production documents (labels, DHR’s, pick tickets, etc.)
· Monitor and report daily production progress and record keeping and reporting to meet customer commitments and requirements
· Serve as a communication hub between production, quality, and logistics teams
· Communicate with each shift on daily schedule and priorities
· Maintain accurate production data including DHR’s in ERP/MRP system
· Support continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling, workflow, and throughput
· Assist with inventory coordination for raw materials and finished goods
· Work closely with Quality to ensure compliance with specifications and production standards
· Maintain pricing tables in ERP/MRP system
· Create shipping documents and assist as needed with outgoing shipments
· Create and assist with Order Entry and Order Confirmations as needed
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production coordination role (plastics or injection molding preferred)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality processes, preferably injection molding
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
- Experience with Device History Records (DHR’s)
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
