Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanic located in Suffolk, VA. The Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair of surface preparation equipment, conducting preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, and working on heavy equipment to maintain operational efficiency. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with equipment set-up, inspections, and providing technical support as required.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair of equipment
- Experience working with Heavy Equipment and understanding of their operation and functionality
- Strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues effectively
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are advantageous
- Experience with surface preparation or industrial equipment is a plus
