We are seeking to hire a reliable, dependable and knowledgeable, skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. This role involves operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation for marine and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and Repair:
Perform regular maintenance on pumps, hoses, nozzles, and other components.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in UHP systems.
Keep equipment in optimal condition to minimize downtime.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols, including PPE requirements, to protect personnel and equipment.
Conduct safety checks and inspections before and during equipment operation.
Adhere to environmental regulations and proper waste disposal practices.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and equipment performance.
Report equipment malfunctions and provide recommendations for improvements.
Collaboration:
Work closely with supervisors, project managers, and team members to meet project goals.
Provide technical expertise and training to team members as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in automotive/diesel/industrial mechanics preferred.
Proven experience as a mechanic, technician, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license REAL ID required
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Prolonged periods of standing, bending, or working in confined spaces.
Manual dexterity to handle tools and parts safely.
Preferred Skills
ASE certification or equivalent credentials.
Experience with fleet maintenance, heavy equipment, or specialized machinery.
Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking software.
