What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at Rapid Packaging company?
Rapid Packaging company is a family owned and operated corrugated manufacturing company. We are currently under new management and looking to add a full time forklift driver to our team.
Job Description:
This person will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks using a forklift including other duties as assigned. The forklift operator will be trained in all aspects of forklift operation, safety, and material handling. Forklift experience required. Hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift
- Accurately and neatly store materials in an organized fashion
- Operate forklifts in a safe manner to ensure material is properly loaded or unloaded
- Follow safety procedures as set forth by Rapid Packaging company
Skills:
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. without assistance
- Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
