Duties
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly
- Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service through clear communication and friendly phone etiquette
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cash drawer balancing, and retail math calculations
- Assist customers with product knowledge, including conducting product demos and upselling relevant items to enhance their shopping experience
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is clean, neat, and well-merchandised
- Support inventory management by participating in stocking activities and maintaining accurate product displays
- Provide support in grocery or retail store environments by applying retail sales skills and knowledge of store products
Experience
- Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is highly desirable
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash drawers confidently
