Rapid Building Solutions is a trusted leader in the design and construction of self-storage facilities. We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to support our accounting department with financial management, reporting, and daily transaction processing.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position works closely with the Controller and accounting team to ensure the accuracy of financial data and the timely processing of invoices, payments, and receivables. Construction accounting experience is a strong plus.
What You’ll Do
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Balance and maintain account ledgers; reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Manage customer billing, including AIA documents and G702/G703 forms.
- Maintain past due customer lists and aging reports.
- Prepare and track change orders.
- Obtain and file lien waivers, warranties, and notices to owners.
- Manage collections and assist with lien filings as needed.
- Coordinate and record bank deposits, report financial results to management regularly.
- Monitor office expenses, verify receipts, and maintain expense records.
- Pay vendor invoices and track account balances.
- Reconcile and review credit card transactions.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Collaborate with team members to meet accounting and reporting deadlines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
What You Bring to the Team
- Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of lien waivers, notice to owners, warranties, and change order procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and accountability.
- Construction or project-based accounting experience is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits

- Salary: TBD based on experience

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
