Rapha Global Care, Inc. is an agency dedicated to providing high-quality care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities in Central Maryland (Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Howard County, Anne Arundel County, and Harford County). We are looking for compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team as and help make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve. As a DSP, you will be a key part of an individual’s journey toward independence, self-reliance, and a meaningful life.
We are searching for DSPs for Personal Supports, 2:30pm-9:30pm. Ideal candidates are well experienced with handling behaviors and assisting with ADLs, compassionate, and engaging. Female staff preferred.

Responsibilities:
As a Direct Support Professional, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing support with activities of daily living (ADLs) including grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring dietary needs are met
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized living environment
- Supporting individuals with transportation to and from community outings and appointments
- Encouraging and facilitating socialization and community engagement
- Promoting the development of life skills such as money management, cooking, and household tasks
- Building and maintaining meaningful relationships with individuals to enhance their quality of life
- Helping individuals set and achieve personal goals while tracking their progress in the iCare Manager system
- Teaching safety skills and advocating for personal health and well-being
- Documenting progress, behaviors, and outcomes in compliance with agency protocols
- Participating in required training and continuing education to ensure best practices in care
- Helping individuals with employment services such as job searching, job applications, and interview prep
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- A high school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle with proof of insurance
- Ability to pass a state background check
- Certified Medication Technician (CMT) training
- First Aid & CPR certification
- DDA (Developmental Disabilities Administration) trainings for DSPs
- MANDT training
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Time management skills
- Comfortable handling challenging behaviors and utilizing behavioral management techniques
- Able to commute all over Central Maryland
- Flexible, empathetic, and compassionate
- Motivated and energetic with a passion for helping others
- Can fill open shifts, and in case of emergencies
