Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fence Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing various types of fences, including wood, vinyl, chain-link, and ornamental styles, ensuring they are secure, durable, and aesthetically pleasing. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces, providing privacy, safety, and visual appeal for our clients. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine fencing requirements and layout.
- Measure, mark, and prepare installation sites using hand tools and power tools with precision.
- Excavate post holes and set fence posts securely using concrete forming techniques when necessary.
- Assemble fence panels or sections on-site, ensuring proper alignment and stability.
- Use welding skills to reinforce metal fences or gates as needed for added strength.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely for digging, lifting, and transporting materials.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as clearing debris and preparing the site for installation.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes throughout each project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or frame carpentry with a focus on fencing or related structures.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, masonry equipment, and concrete finishing techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a daily basis.
- Knowledge of welding processes for metal fencing applications.
- Experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of safety protocols.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance and hardscape installation is a plus.
