Ranger Lift Trucks is growing, and we are looking for an experienced, motivated New & Used Forklift Equipment Sales Representative to join our team.

We are an authorized LiuGong forklift dealer serving the Houston market, offering new and pre-owned equipment, rentals, parts, and service. Our goal is simple: provide customers with great equipment, responsive local support, and a level of service that earns their business for the long term.

This is an opportunity for a salesperson who enjoys being in front of customers, developing new business, solving equipment problems, and closing deals. We are looking for someone who wants to own their territory and build a long-term book of business—not simply wait for leads to come in.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development: Actively prospect for new clients through cold calling, site visits, and networking within an assigned territory. Manage existing customer portfolios for current needs.
• Consultative Selling: Conduct on-site facility surveys to assess customer needs and recommend specific forklift models, attachments, or leasing options. This position will also be able to get customers into rental units if needed.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Quoting & Closing: Prepare detailed proposals, negotiate pricing, and manage the sales process from lead to final delivery.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with service, parts, and logistics departments to ensure seamless equipment delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Sales Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions through the CRM system. Work toward monthly and annual sales goals.

Qualifications & Skills

· Proven track record in B2B industrial or capital equipment sales. Proven outside sales experience required.

· Familiarity with major brands (e.g., Toyota, Crown, Hyster-Yale, and LiuGong) and new technologies like lithium-ion batteries or automated systems.

· Verbal and written communication skills required. Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills to interface with warehouse managers and C-suite executives.

· A valid driver's license and clean driving record are mandatory for territory travel.

· Occasional ability to operate forklifts for demonstrations (often requiring certification).

· Ability to work independently while also being a team player.

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Pay: From $30,000.00 per year
