Ranger Construction Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations.
This is a hands-on, senior-level payroll position responsible for ensuring payroll is processed accurately, timely, and in accordance with established procedures and requirements across a multi-entity environment. The Senior Payroll Specialist will take ownership of assigned payroll activities from initial review through final processing, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
We are seeking a payroll professional who does more than process transactions—someone who recognizes when information does not look right, investigates the cause, determines the appropriate resolution, and follows issues through to completion.
Qualifications:
· 5 years of progressive payroll experience preferred, including demonstrated responsibility for full-cycle payroll processing.
· Experience processing payroll in a multi-entity or multi-company environment strongly preferred.
· Demonstrated experience independently reviewing, reconciling, troubleshooting, and resolving payroll issues.
· Construction payroll experience is strongly preferred.
· Certified payroll and/or prevailing wage experience strongly preferred.
· Experience with payroll adjustments, garnishments, off-cycle processing, reconciliations, and other complex or non-routine payroll activity.
· Experience working with ERP or enterprise payroll systems required; Oracle Fusion experience strongly preferred.
· Experience with automated timekeeping systems and payroll system integrations preferred.
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant payroll experience will be considered.
· Speaking, reading and writing Spanish is required.
