RCI-BDX-3338 Financial Analyst (Cost Accounting/Inventory/Budget/Forecasting/Financial Reporting/SAP)

• In this on-site role, the Finance Analyst provides Financial/Accounting support for the SRG/MDS business, specifically Manufacturing Plant in EL Paso, TX.
• This includes providing financial support and leadership to Finance and Operations leaders, playing a key role in establishing and achieving financial objectives and formulating and executing operations strategies.
• The position plays a critical role in managing manufacturing cost performance and driving continuous improvement and informed decision-making.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead month-end activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial results.
• Ensure accurate account reconciliations and financial integrity within SAP.
• Perform detailed costing analysis, including standard cost, review, and maintenance.
• Support recurring financial reports, summarizing in a timely manner, identifying key drivers, and working with cross-departmental teams to lead change through KPI management.
• Support annual budget and rolling forecast process, integrating operational and cost assumptions. Monitor performance on a weekly & monthly basis vs latest projection cycle and annual budget.
• Support internal and external SOX Audits.
• Drives continuous financial improvement through preparation/review of business cases, inventory analysis, new product and discontinuance analysis, and spending analysis.
• Ensures that financial reports and records are prepared in compliance with US GAAP and client financial policies.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required

Minimum qualifications

Education & Experience

• Requires 2 years of relevant progressive accounting / finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing operations, product costing, manufacturing variances and inventory control, financial analysis, and budgeting & forecasting experience preferred
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUPS, etc.)
• ERP experience is necessary; specifically, SAP experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well with management of all levels and disciplines.
• Knowledge of corporate accounting policies and procedures.
• Self-driven, proactive and seeks continuous improvement.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed, challenging environment with strong attention to detail.
