Must-Have Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 2 years of accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macros, VLOOKUPs)
• ERP system experience required
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Job Description:

The Finance Analyst provides financial and accounting support for the client SRG/MDS business, specifically supporting the Infection Prevention Manufacturing Plant in El Paso, TX. This role partners closely with Finance and Operations leadership to establish and achieve financial objectives, support operational strategies, and drive informed business decisions. The position plays a critical role in managing manufacturing cost performance, supporting financial reporting, forecasting activities, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end close activities and ensure timely, accurate financial results.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain financial integrity within SAP.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis, including standard cost review and maintenance.
• Prepare recurring financial reports, identify key drivers, and support KPI management initiatives.
• Support annual budget and rolling forecast processes.
• Monitor weekly and monthly financial performance against forecasts and budget.
• Assist with internal and external SOX audits.
• Develop and review business cases and perform inventory, spending, and product analysis.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company financial policies.
• Perform additional finance and accounting duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with manufacturing operations, product costing, manufacturing variances, inventory control, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• ERP experience required.
• Strong knowledge of corporate accounting policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-driven and proactive mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP experience.
• Experience supporting SOX audits and compliance activities.
• Manufacturing finance and cost accounting experience.
