We are seeking a detail-oriented Analytical Laboratory Specialist to support analytical laboratory operations, equipment commissioning, test method development, and continuous improvement activities. This contract opportunity is ideal for a laboratory professional with hands-on analytical experience who can work collaboratively with equipment vendors and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency in the operation and functionality of analytical laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate with equipment vendors to support instrument installation, commissioning, verification, and readiness for routine use.
• Create, update, and refine analytical test methods in accordance with established laboratory standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to equipment commissioning, testing, and laboratory activities.
• Support GMP compliance and follow established laboratory procedures and quality requirements.
• Lead assigned analytical laboratory projects supporting operational and continuous improvement objectives.
• Coordinate project activities, track deliverables, and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Identify and support opportunities to improve laboratory processes, methods, and equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in an analytical laboratory, manufacturing laboratory, or related regulated environment.
• Experience operating analytical laboratory equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document laboratory activities.
• Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience commissioning laboratory equipment, including setup, verification, documentation, and readiness for routine use.
• Experience developing, validating, or refining analytical test methods with a focus on accuracy and repeatability.
• Familiarity with GMP requirements and laboratory compliance practices.
• Experience leading laboratory projects from planning through completion.
• Ability to coordinate with equipment vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Experience identifying and implementing laboratory process improvements.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
