Manufacturing Technician (Robotic/Assembly/Machinery)
Location: Hopkinton, MA
Job Type: Contract – 6 Months, with Possibility of Extension
Schedule: 1st Shift – 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 6:00 AM–2:30 PM EST
Pay Range - $28/hr - $31/hr
Job Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to set up and operate automatic and semi-automatic manufacturing equipment, including robotic assembly equipment. This role is responsible for operating production machinery, adjusting equipment settings, performing minor repairs, and inspecting finished products to ensure they meet established requirements.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate automatic and semi-automatic production equipment.
- Operate robotic assembly equipment and other manufacturing machinery.
- Load and feed materials into machines for processing.
- Adjust machine settings to maintain production requirements.
- Perform minor repairs and basic equipment troubleshooting.
- Remove and handle finished products from the production line.
- Follow process sheets and written or verbal instructions from supervisors.
- Monitor machine operation and production processes.
- Inspect production results against established tolerances.
- Follow applicable safety, quality, and production procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience operating manufacturing or production machinery preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to monitor equipment and identify production issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a production environment and follow safety procedures.
Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
