Randy’s Donuts is seeking a hands-on Director of Accounting to lead financial operations for our rapidly growing international brand. As an expanding multi-location franchisor and franchisee group, this role oversees accounting across multiple entities and helps build the financial systems and processes needed to support continued growth.
Known around the world for our iconic rooftop donut and deep roots in pop culture, Randy’s Donuts is entering an exciting phase of expansion. This position plays a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational discipline, and scalable financial infrastructure across the organization.
· Lead accounting operations across corporate entities and franchise locations.
· Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, royalties, and general ledger and
analysis reporting.
· Manage financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis across multiple entities.
· Prepare consolidated financial statements and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
· Ensure compliance with franchise agreements, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
· Develop and optimize scalable accounting systems, workflows, and reporting processes.
· Collaborate with external partners including CPAs, auditors, attorneys, insurance brokers, and
government agencies.
· Partner with operations leadership to analyze unit-level performance, cost trends, and profit drivers.
· Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while building a high-performing finance team.
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
· Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
· Experience working in multi-entity accounting environments.
· Experience in franchising, hospitality, food & beverage, retail, or multi-unit operations preferred.
· Strong knowledge of GAAP and complex multi-unit operations & financial reporting standards.
· Experience with ADP Workforce, POS systems, and franchise royalties, and multi-unit preferred.
· Understanding of general HR/Payroll procedures.
· Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing organization.
The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and location. Compensation may also include eligibility for discretionary bonuses and other benefits consistent with company policies.
