Whether you're a seasoned professional or a recent graduate, there's a place for you in our Beauty Tech revolution. - apply for your dream job now!location: Clark, New Jerseyjob type: Contractsalary: $20.00 - 28.82 per hourwork hours: 9 to 5education: Bachelorsresponsibilities:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIESAssisting in formula development of skincare products (creams, lotions, serums, toners, SPF's) to bring to the market.Batch different formulation trials in the lab to evaluate texture, stability and aesthetics.Set up and monitor stability to ensure highest quality of products.Check formula specs (color, odor appearance, viscosity, pH, Microscope) to ensure formula stability.Collaborate with support teams (analytical, microbiology, processing engineers, etc) to assist for formulation development and ensure quality of products.Able to multitask throughout the day to handle multiple different tasks of the formulation process as well as multiple projects at the same time.Under close supervision, completes tasks as directed.Adheres to set objectives and standards. Ordering raw materials, making batches and keeping track of experiments in lab notebook.Performs and tracks stability on all formulas made.Needs to be detailed-oriented. Open communication to bring to the attention of the chemists/manager of any stability issues.
