Telecoms Engineer

Telecom Field Technician - Avaya and Nortel

Start: 2 weeks from date of offer

Location: Anaheim, CA

Length of Contract: 6 months

Schedule: 5 days a week - some weeks will be Mon-Fri and some will be Tue-Sat

40 hours per week

Hourly Pay: 50-53 p/hr on W2 Only

*Background Check and Drug Screen Required*1-2 Interview process. Client looking to move very quickly

Responsibilities

Position Requirements:

 Have working knowledge to perform regular type of MAC phone requests and phone repairs on Cisco Call Manager, Avaya/Nortel CSE1000 PBX systems, and Avaya Messaging.

 Be available to work a flexible schedule for supporting the customer Monday through Saturday 8AM- 5PM shift and could be moved to a 5-day shift within these days.

 Supply common telecommunications tools.

 Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Additional Requirements

 familiarity with onsite equipment including Cisco Call Manager, Nortel, PBX Systems.

 Excellent client-facing and customer service skills.

 Willingness to travel to sites near to Anaheim, CA.

 Ability to work well with team members including Team Lead and possibly the Field Operations Manager.

 Highly organized and able to keep detailed and accurate records for time reporting and billing purposes.
