The Opportunity Position: Contractual QC Technician Shift: 2nd Shift (Mon–Fri, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) Training: Initial training will take place on the 1st shift for the first few weeks. Location: St. Louis, MO (63110) What You’ll Do Laboratory Testing: Perform essential tests including pH, specific gravity, viscosity, and titrations on raw materials and blended chemical intermediates. Production Inspection: Head out to the production floor to manually inspect finished goods for fill weight, cap torque, labels, and lot coding. Data Management: Document all test and inspection results in both paper and electronic formats, entering data into the quality database. Investigations: Support quality investigations by reviewing documentation, retesting samples, and inspecting components for nonconformances. Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with production staff and management to maintain high-quality standards. What You Bring to the Table Education: An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (or equivalent work experience). Technical Skills: Familiarity with basic lab techniques, analytical instruments, and Microsoft Office. Reliability: Because this role is integral to production, consistent attendance and dependability are mandatory. Physical Ability: Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs in an industrial environment. Like all other production support positions, this role operates under an attendance point system.
