In this role, you are the guardian of our cold-chain production. You will work with everything from high-speed fillers and cartoners to industrial freezers and ammonia refrigeration systems. Primary Responsibilities Equipment Repair: Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during peak ice cream processing runs. Specialized Maintenance: Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on homogenizers, pasteurizers, flavor vats, and continuous freezers. Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on high-speed automated packaging lines. Facilities Oversight: Maintain and monitor critical plant utilities, including boilers, air compressors, and industrial refrigeration (Ammonia/Glycol) systems. Sanitary Standards: Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks comply with strict Food Safety and SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards, maintaining a "Grade A" sanitary environment. Continuous Improvement: Participate in projects to increase machine reliability and reduce product waste during flavor changeovers.
