We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to champion the quality of our products. As a key member of our team, you will ensure compliance and record keeping for all mandated quality checks, testing, and sampling activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspecting packaged and stored fruit to ensure specifications are met.
- Reporting quality results and issues with operations and management.
- Testing Brix, Pressures, and Dry Matter.
- Working closely with operations and management on corrective action when the product does not meet specifications.
- Conducting visual and measurement tests on fruit to ensure they meet approved requirements.
- Maintaining detailed records of food production, including relevant metrics such as defective fruit per day.
Essential Functions
- Manual lifting up to 50lbs.
- Standing for 8 hours at one time.
- Working up to 12 hours of overtime per week.
- Working weekends.
