Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

Location: New Century, KS

Pay Rate: $30.00 – $35.00/hr $1.50/hr Shift Differential ($31.50 – $36.50 total/hr)

Schedule: Mon–Fri | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire

• Troubleshoot & Repair: Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on production lines and support equipment.

• Preventative Maintenance: Execute routine PMs and track logs using CMMS software to minimize downtime.

• Diagnostics: Resolve hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC/instrumentation issues.

• Support: Assist with system shutdowns, machine startups, and contractor oversight.

• Experience: Associate degree in a technical field OR 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.

• Technical Skills: solid background in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical systems, blueprint reading, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

• Automation: Experience with PLCs, instrumentation, and industrial controls.

• Requirements: Proficient with CMMS/PCs, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot & Repair: Perform hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs across production lines, automated equipment, and facility support systems.

• Preventative Maintenance: Maintain a CMMS-tracked log to spot trends, perform routine PMs, and minimize unscheduled downtime.

• System Diagnostics: Utilize your expertise to diagnose hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC/instrumentation issues.

• Shutdown & Startup Support: Participate in planned shutdown activities, maintenance scheduling, and machine startups.

• Vendor & Contractor Oversight: Collaborate with OEM vendors for parts pricing and supervise third-party contractors when needed.

• Safety & Workplace Care: Maintain high OSHA safety standards and keep a clean, organized work area.
