• Experience: Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a team-oriented environment is preferred. Experience in the construction or building materials industry is a plus.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Skills: Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Must be highly organized with good attention to detail.
• Mindset: A work ethic and a desire to learn and grow within the sales field. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Serve as the primary contact for contractors and customers, answering inquiries in person and over the phone.
• Order Management: Accurately input, process, and manage customer orders, providing quotes, checking inventory, and coordinating delivery schedules with the logistics team.
• Product Knowledge: Develop expertise in building products and materials to effectively guide customers in their purchasing decisions and suggest suitable solutions.
• Sales Support: Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently, maintaining a positive relationship and ensuring repeat business.
• Relationship Building: Work collaboratively with the Outside Sales team and warehouse staff to ensure a seamless and positive experience for every customer.
