Industrial Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)

Location: De Soto, KS

Pay Rate: $27.00 – $30.00 / hour Shift Differential

Schedule: 12-Hour Rotating Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

(Includes paid day-shift training before transitioning to nights!)

• Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues on high-speed packaging machines and conveyor systems.

• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct visual/auditory inspections and perform PMs to eliminate downtime.

• Schematic Mastery: Read blueprints and manuals to complete precise repairs safely using LOTO protocols.

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.

• 5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience (machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics).

• strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

• Ownership of a standard personal maintenance tool set.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand, climb, and work in a high-volume plant.

• Ability to train on day shift, then transition to 12-hour rotating night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM).

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain manufacturing machinery, high-speed automated equipment, and conveyor systems in accordance with schematics and manuals.

• Visually inspect and listen to equipment to locate causes of mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic malfunctions.

• Dismantle equipment to replace worn or defective components using hand and power tools.

• Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

• Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts).
