We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Credit & Collections Specialist to join their Finance team.In this role, you will manage a designated portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring timely payment while maintaining the high standard of customer service Canon is known for. This is not a typical call center role; it requires research, reconciliation, and building relationships with business clients to resolve billing discrepancies and facilitate payment.salary: $27 - $28 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesMonitor an assigned portfolio of B2B accounts, reviewing aging reports to identify past-due customers.Contact commercial customers via phone and email to secure payment status, negotiate payment plans, and resolve outstanding balances.Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and shipping errors by collaborating with Sales and Billing departments.Qualifications & Skills2 years of Corporate/B2B Collections or Accounts Receivable experience is preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to maintain professional relationships while being persistent).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) is highly desired.
