CNC Lathe Operator and Setup

Are you a skilled Swiss Lathe Machinist who takes pride in precision craftsmanship? We are seeking an experienced CNC Setup & Operator Machinist specializing in Citizen and/or Star machines to join a precision-driven manufacturing team.

In this role, you’ll work on high-complexity, high-reward components—including Class 1, 2, and 3 Medical Devices and critical ISO 9001-controlled products. • Swiss Lathe Expertise: 3 years of hands-on experience setting up, operating, and adjusting Star and/or Citizen Swiss screw machines (Required).

• Setup Proven Track Record: 3 years of full machine setup and troubleshooting experience (Preferred).

• Blueprints & Tolerances: Ability to easily read complex drawings and hold tight tolerances on critical parts.

• Medical / ISO Experience: Prior experience with Medical Class 1, 2, 3 components or ISO 9001 strict environments is a plus.

• Safety & Standard First: Committed to following Job Safety Procedures, SOPs, and keeping work tools secured and maintained.ZPMLSTCM

Responsibilities

• Setup & Optimize: Perform complete, independent setups on Star and/or Citizen Swiss Screw machines for optimal cycle times and maximum machine utilization.

• Precision Machining: Fabricate custom and recurring complex parts directly from customer drawings and blueprints.

• Quality Control: Calibrate equipment, maintain extremely tight tolerances, and perform required inspections and documentation to medical-grade standards.

• Process Improvement: Create detailed tool sheets for new and revised jobs, continuously refining processes for efficiency.

• Maintain & Prevent: Keep your work center running at peak performance through preventive and predictive maintenance routines.

• Collaborate: Keep lines of communication open with Team Leaders regarding cycle times, programming tweaks, and daily shift logs.
