responsibilities:
- Coordinate gas and electric service projects for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
- Act as the main point of contact (face of the company) for customers and external stakeholders.
- Gather customer requirements and oversee the project lifecycle from design to construction completion.
- Estimate system and customer loads; provide updates and cost estimates to customers.
- Identify and secure necessary permits and schedule work orders accordingly.
- Evaluate and analyze distribution design requirements and impacts on the system.
- Coordinate all prerequisites for successful project execution.
- Perform field visits as needed to meet customers and assess site conditions.
Skills:
- Use tools such as CAD, SAP, and Microsoft Office to manage project data and align with quality control.
- Generate and manage tasks for cross-functional teams.
- Track project milestones and manage scheduling priorities.
- Analyze complex problems, develop alternatives, and implement corrective actions.
- Demonstrate knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and distribution systems.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in a technical/scientific field or 60 credits toward a Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- 3 years of relevant work experience.
