Senior Oracle HCM Techno-Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle HCM Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team supporting Oracle E-Business Suite HCM applications (R12.2). This role will focus on providing technical and functional support for Oracle HCM modules, including Payroll, Time & Labor, Advanced Benefits, and more. The position is onsite in Houston, TX, supporting a major Oracle R12.2.15 upgrade project.

You will work closely with business users and IT teams to deliver customizations, extensions, and production support while ensuring high levels of service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities The Senior Oracle HCM Techno-Functional Consultant will:

• Provide technical development and functional support for Oracle E-Business Suite HCM modules
• Support customizations, extensions, and enhancements across Core HR, Payroll, Oracle Time & Labor (OTL), Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB), Absence Management, Oracle Learning Management (OLM), Compensation Workbench (CWB), Self-Service HR, Workflow, and AME
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and create functional and technical specifications
• Perform development, configuration, and testing of Oracle HCM solutions
• Execute Change Management tasks and ensure SOX compliance where applicable
• Participate in project lifecycle activities using industry-standard methodologies and best practices
• Provide production support, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and solution recommendations
• Track deliverables and project progress, providing regular reporting to management
• Stay up-to-date with Oracle HCM technology trends and best practices
• Work effectively as part of a large Oracle support team
• Support occasional travel up to 10% as needed

Qualifications

Must-Have

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from a 4-year accredited university OR 15 years of related industry or technical experience

Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite HCM modules:

Core HR

Payroll

Oracle Time & Labor (OTL)

Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB)

Absence Management

Workflow

Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle Learning Management (OLM) and Compensation Workbench (CWB)

Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle development tools: Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, XML Publisher, Web ADI, Workflow, SQL Loader

Hands-on experience with Payroll, OAB, and OTL Fast Formula

Experience with OTL time entry rules

Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2

Proficiency with Toad, SQL*Plus, and UNIX

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice-to-Have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or CIS

Experience with Oracle RDBMS 19c on Linux x86_64

Experience with Oracle Developer 10g tools

Experience with Visual Studio GIT/ADO and FlexDeploy

Prior involvement in Oracle EBS upgrades, patches, or enhancements

Experience supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
