- Jr developer will come in and research and work with new technologies for the group. Will explore a process engine most of the work may not see production, but the work is important to their discovery process.

Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance APIs using Java (Spring Boot), ideally with reactive or functional programming practices.
- Develop and support TypeScript-based services using Node.js (NestJS), integrating with various front and backend systems.
- Build rich, scalable web applications using Angular, contributing to micro front-end architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver:
- A new ratings workflow system for private credit markets.
- A system to support credit estimate generation.
- Applications for party opinion analysis and project flow management.
- Enhance and maintain internal frameworks and shared APIs used across all development teams.
- Integrate with data platforms including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Kafka.
- Operate as part of a team that provides architectural support to all lines of business - both vertical and horizontal initiatives.
- Stay adaptable: priorities shift rapidly, and the ability to context-switch and learn quickly is critical.
- 2-4 years of software development experience, ideally including full stack or backend roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Java (Spring Boot) with emphasis on modern versions and reactive programming.
- TypeScript and Node.js (especially with NestJS framework).
- Angular (latest versions), with micro front-end experience preferred.
- Familiarity with:
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
- Messaging/Eventing: Kafka.
- Additional exposure to .NET or Python-based APIs is a plus.
- Knowledge of software architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience working in an agile, cross-functional, or architecture-heavy environment.
- Candidates with 2-4 years of experience post-undergraduate, including time spent before or after a Master's degree, have thrived in this team.
- Open-minded, fast learners who are comfortable picking up new tools and frameworks.
- Ability to think independently, make architectural tradeoffs, and work without heavy direction.
- Passionate about programming -it's for people who love writing code.
- Strong communication skills and ability to operate in ambiguity.
- Interest or experience in emerging technologies (e.g., blockchain, data mesh) is a plus
