Job Summary:

Take ownership of complex software development tasks, working independently to design, code, develop, debug and implement high-quality IT solutions. Utilize your in-depth knowledge and experience to solve technical challenges and mentor junior developers.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Analyze User Requirements: Analyze user requirements and design technical solutions.
• Develop Complex Systems: Develop and maintain complex systems and subsystems.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure developers and stakeholders are aligned.
• Ensure Code Quality: Review code to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Understand Technical Stack: An awareness and understanding of the entire technical stack available to developers.
• Ability to exploit the proper technology for specific reasons.
• Stay Current on Technology: Maintain knowledge of state-of-the-art technology and industry trends and recommend technologies to department leadership.
• Participate in Project Planning: Participate in project planning activities utilizing agile development methodologies and provide technical input.

• Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education
• Work Experience: 5 years related experience with Bachelor's Degree OR 3 years related experience with Master's Degree
