Randolph Union is seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Paraeducator to support developmental and behavioral support needs. This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, foster student growth, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, special educators, counselors, and other team members to support the student's academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development throughout the school day. The ideal candidate demonstrates flexibility, strong communication skills, a commitment to student-centered practices, and the ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations.
Responsibilities Include:
Providing individualized support to help a student access learning opportunities
Building positive relationships that promote engagement, confidence, and success
Supporting social-emotional growth and skill development
Implementing educational and behavioral support plans under the guidance of professional staff
Collaborating with educators and service providers to meet student goals
Maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with children or adolescents
Knowledge of developmental and behavioral support strategies
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
A belief in the potential of all students to learn and grow
