Randolph's, Inc. is a common carrier of primarily petroleum based products, located in Traer, IA. We are family owned and operated and have been in business for nearly 50 years. We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Diesel Mechanic / Technician. The position will be located in Traer, IA. Compensation is based upon experience.
Job Duties / Responsibilities will include the following (amongst other things):
> Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform maintenance on equipment (Heavy Duty Class 8 trucks & trailers) to include Satellite communication systems.
> Perform preventative maintenance and routine tasks to include oil changes and grease jobs
> Perform tire services
> Perform basic electrical repairs
> Perform brake services
> Perform wheel end/seal services
> Perform CSA / DOT inspections
> Perform service calls
> Keep shop clean at all times
Requirements / Qualifications
> Certification from a diesel mechanic trade school preferred (or equivalent experience)
> Must have a valid driver's license, Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Haz Mat endorsements is highly desired or must possess willingness to acquire
> Must have an acceptable driving record
> Must have minimum tools required to perform basic PM tasks
> Must be able to lift 75 lbs
> Welding experience is a plus
> Experience with Tripac APU's, Hydraulics and pumps is also a plus
> Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
