What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unit Coordinator - Medical Pediatric Services position at Randolph Health?
Summary: Coordinates and supervises provision of patient care and patient flow in the nursing unit consistent with philosophy policies, standards or care, and standards of practice of the organization, the nursing department, and the laws of the state.
Qualifications: Graduate of an approved school of nursing. BSN required. Current BCLS required. Complete knowledge of purpose and use of equipment. Knowledge and application of professional nursing theory, practice, and procedures. Ability to function effectively in a fast paced, stressful environment. Effective communication skills. Leadership skills, including ability to organize and prioritize, use critical thinking skills, and problem solve. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, physicians, other health care personnel, visitors, and the public. Minimum of three years clinical experience.
