A Housekeeper plays a vital role in ensuring a clean and safe environment. This position encompasses a range of responsibilities, including cleaning, organizing, and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout an establishment. Housekeepers are significantly contributing to the overall reputation of a facility.
The Essential Function are:- Sweeps, vacuums and mops assigned areas and rooms.
- Removes trash from rooms and buildings and puts in dumpster; removes and sorts recycling from rooms and buildings.
- Scrubs and cleans restrooms including mirrors, wash basins, commodes, etc.; fills tissue, towel and soap dispensers.
- Dusts furniture, walls, windowsills and other woodwork; cleans and dusts window blinds.
- Cleans glass doors and partitions.
- Performs simple building maintenance work, such as changing light fixtures; makes minor adjustments to facility.
- Prepares supplies and equipment for department meetings, as needed.
- Abides by, enforces and participates in the implementation and ongoing oversight of Randolph County Government safety standards and regulations.
Minimum Education and Experience
Less than high school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Hours: 6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, No Weekends or Holidays.
