What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional position at Randolph County School System?

The paraprofessional will provide support to teachers and students in educational settings. The ideal candidate will assist with instruction, provide individualized support, and help maintain a positive and effective learning environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Sixty (60) college credit hours, Associates degree preferred;
- Experience working with sensitive information regarding students;
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate.
- Must complete a required criminal background check.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to relate and motivate all students with respect to learning styles and involving positive interactions for the ongoing intellectual development of young minds;
- Ability to successfully integrate technology into the classroom while engaging students;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, students, parents and the community.
