We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, caulking, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Perform commercial and construction painting tasks with precision and care.
- Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, tape, and other methods.
- Use power tools safely and effectively for various tasks related to painting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project duration.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Painter in commercial or residential settings.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools.
- Must have reliable transportation, and valid driver’s license
- Must carry liability insurance (proof required)
- Ability to lift and carry ladders and equipment as needed
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and homeowners effectively.
